2025 Toyota Land Cruiser Trim Levels: Off-Road Royalty

The Land Cruiser is equipped with a full-time four-wheel drivetrain that adapts beautifully to different terrain by using a limited-slip center differential and Active Traction Control to optimize torque for all four wheels. Additionally, you can customize the SUV’s performance with Normal, Eco, Sport, and Snow driving modes.

Both Land Cruiser models are equipped with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder i-FORCE MAX hybrid motor, four-wheel drivetrain, and eight-speed electronically controlled transmission. The output of the HEV engine is 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. This SUV can haul 6,000 lbs, so medium-sized boats and campers can be hitched for your next outdoor adventure. The engine offers a gas mileage of 23 MPG combined.

Land Cruiser 1958

The entry-level Land Cruiser 1958 has mudguards, 18-inch alloy wheels, a front skid plate, and frame-mounted tow hooks at the front and rear of the vehicle. Heritage-inspired circular LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights give this SUV a unique retro appearance. The SUV comes with a windshield wiper de-icer and rain-sensing front windshield wipers so you’re prepared for driving in all weather conditions.

The base model has a three-zone climate control system with separate rear climate controls so front and rear passengers can enjoy personalized climate settings. An auto-dimming rearview mirror with a built-in compass and HomeLink garage door opener is standard, along with heated front-row seats. This model has an eight-inch multimedia system with six speakers, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a three-month satellite radio trial.

Along with the standard Crawl Control system, which optimizes vehicle handling on rocky terrain at low speeds, the second-tier Land Cruiser has Multi-Terrain Select, a system that adjusts the off-road capabilities with Auto, Sand, Mud, Dirt, Rock, and Deep Snow driving modes. Rigid Industries LED color-selectable fog lights are standard, along with roof rails and running boards.

Optional interior upgrades for this trim include a power tilt/slide moonroof, a console cool box, a head-up display, and a driver’s seat with memory and manual cushion length extension. A 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system with a 10-speaker audio system is standard, although drivers can upgrade to a 14-speaker system for surround sound quality. A 10-year trial for Safety Connect features is standard.
