Toyota Highlander
The 2011 Toyota Highlander is bigger. Bigger dimensions usually mean a bigger number at the scales, and the Highlander is no exception.The Land Cruiser comes in 3 trim levels: Base, SE, and Limited. To compensate for the couple hundred or so extra pounds it's packing, the Highlander is available with V6 power. That means either Toyota's 187-horsepower, 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine, which is more efficient or the 270-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine, which packs more power and respectably efficient. When choosing the V-6 option you can get your choice between a 2WD and 4WD model.
Like its predecessor, the current Highlander is offered in five trim levels: base, SE, Limited, Hybrid and Hybrid Limited. Base models have an impressive array of standard features that will satisfy many consumers, while stepping up to the SE nets more luxury and convenience items. The Highlander Limited receives softer suspension tuning than the SE as well as leather upholstery and a decadent assortment of interior accoutrements. The Hybrid models comes with the added fuel economy, and a Hybrid Towing Prep Package for all of your hauling needs.
