Toyota FJ Cruiser
The Toyota FJ Cruiser is offered in a single trim level, but has a series of option packages that add convenience and extended usability. Some standard features that are included are 17-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, power windows and locks, a six-speaker audio system with CD/MP3 player, and steering-wheel-mounted controls, with options that include cruise control, keyless entry, and power side mirrors.
Toyota has outfitted the FJ Cruiser with a 4.0L choice of four-wheel-drive systems and two transmissions. Four-wheel-drive models with the five-speed automatic transmission come with a transfer case that can be changed to 2-Hi, 4-Hi and 4-Lo modes. FJs with the six-speed manual transmission are more off-road-oriented, as they provide a lockable center differential but lack the 2-Hi mode. There's also a two-wheel-drive FJ Cruiser available. It comes with the five-speed automatic only.
